hi, just wondering if there is a way of displaying the radio code on my skoda radio cassette player in my vrs mk1, getting rid of the auto changer and standard radio,but will keep it if I need to replace it, putting in a clarion radio. just want to know how to find my original code, looked in the books and its not there., any help t.i.a

I believe the only way to recover a code is via a skoda dealer.

They have to query some database or such.

~£20 if I remember correctly.

If you re-fit the original HU back into the car it was removed from I believe it will auto unlock itself.

ok thanks for the info, yeah im not getting rid of it,just going to replace it and keep original one just incase.
