Retro fit electric folding mirrors simple or more to it?

Featured Replies

Hi,

If I wanted to add electric folding mirrors is it just a case of plug and play or is there more to it?

Thanks

Mathew

This has been asked before, there is an awful lot more to it than plug and play, a new controller as well as wiring, a switch and mirrors containing the motors are needed in order to make it work. Probably better off buying a car with folding mirrors already included.

And if your car is pre FL, I don't believe it was ever an option to have folding mirrors (electric yes), so you will probably struggle to find the parts, unless you can crowbar FL parts onto it.

Definitely never a factory option on a pre-fl.

I think facelift mirrors will fit a pre facelift
