it needs coding and the remotes need to be adapted

I have a 2006 Octavia vRS MK2 with Maxidot fitted but have very limited options in the Maxidot menu, certainly none of the convenience options. 

 

Would it be a case of changing it out with this unit and then doing a bit of work in VCDS? If so, I am interested (as long as you could give me some guidance on the programming?)
