I didn't even know word travelled that fast about me! Hahaha! All I do is stretch rings... It's you that tears them by trying to get a fist in if I remember correctly lol!

Thanks everyone for coming, and apologies for the food situation

Last time I went there you could just go in and get a table, but obviously its different now

Hope it didnt spoil peoples enjoyment of a good meet and turnout

Thanks Chris Coates for the Wetherby Whaler suggestion, which just about got my head off the chopping block!

Was great to see plenty of new people and cars, and to catch up with some old friends as well.

Cheers to all who purchased tac disc holders and stickers, I didnt realise I would be asked to fit them as well! Good job I got them all straight or it would have been expensive for me to provide replacements. The worst one was definitely Simbo's, where I had an audience watching me replace his first attempt and John taking pictures of me making sure I did it straight. Talk about pressure ha

Skoda superbs were out in force as well, which was good to see, and the 4x4 one, your weimaraner was gorgeous

Hope you enjoyed the day anyway, despite the lack of food availabilty, but the fish and chip run was a decent alternative

Also, thanks to Adam for the ride out in your lowered superb, and the brown trouser moment when you went the wrong way into oncoming traffic lol.

See you all at the next one

Regards

Damo

I was slightly concerned by the conversation with a fellow male Briskodian

"Hello, you must be Brimma"

"That's right, how could you tell?"

"I recognised the legs"

Once again, the commonest car there was the R36

I, of course, had the rarest, being the only Mk2 diesel vRS in the world :)

Apologies to those I missed, next time I'll get the camera out sooner

Many thanks to damo for organising the meet.......I think it probably saved us a fortune NOT eating at the pub, and I was more than happy to slum it with it plaice and chips at the Wetherby Whaler, once we found it

Can I suggest that we do exactly the same next time, ie use the pub car park as a meeting point for a chat and piccies, then carry on again either to the chippy or the Toby Carvery, sod the pub! :)

Agreed. It worked well!

Hahaha!

I just noted you'd come all colour coordinated with the shirt and then was glad you weren't thinking of florescent orange to compliment your car like on the shirt!
