As the title suggests, please could you advise me, i'm due to get mine any time now and wanting to know what to expect. As per previous threads, i am aware, going from my current car to this will already mean an increase in fuel

The fuel tank is 55 ltrs (60 ltrs for the 4x4) so 55 x the price per ltr where you fill up.

45 litres @ £1.32 a litre is £59.40

@ £1.36 a litre it is £61.20

 

50 litres in @ £1.32 will be £66

As above. Depends how much needs to go in. In the summer you'll probably get 36 to 38 mpg especially with it being new. Mine has 3000 miles on and has improved slightly to about 37/38 but that's mainly short runs under 10 miles.

Well my diesel golf is currently averaging 57mpg. Its going to be a big blow, but hopefully the comfort and high up position will compensate.

Worked it out the other day, it costs about £75 for 55 litres unleaded Ron 95 min... and you'll get around 450 miles at 38 MPG

Lets hope it does not get back up to that cost all over.

On average yes I end up paying about £5 extra per fill for premium unleaded just for peace of mind.
