Buy & sell

Featured Replies

Hypothetical case considering the recent price increase and longish deliveries.

So, build up a highish spec production vehicle and sell it soon after delivery.

Could money be made.

Money will be made,

by Skoda & the Skoda Dealership, & the the British Public/UK Government via HMRC.

You can make money if you find someone willing to pay you more than you paid to buy your used car.

If you can,

then maybe do it professionally.

you will be become a Broker/Trader & you can pay Tax on you Profits.

No. - Competing with online brokers and the usual driving off the forecourt high percentage devaluation effect hardly worth the effort - put your money in bank at 0.5% instead.

On the note of broker, I work next door to one who imports Audi, BMW, Ferrari (these are hidden away), Jag, Mini, all very high spec, high value, special orders. The forecourt is covered with Evokies, mini etc that are now 2 years old which only move about every 2 weeks from one spot to another just to help prevent the tyres flat spotting. A friend tried to haggle one down in price and he would not move on it. Very odd indeed. Car prices are always rising and someone at sometime will see these as a good buy.

Speculating and Investing in New Skodas,  could be an opening for you as a new business.

If you want to make a Small Fortune,

start with a big one and soon you can lose some of it.

There can not be many Evokies in the country, i certainly have never seen one,

maybe a special edition for Ruskies.
