help! engine broken...advice please

Featured Replies

Hi guys, on my way to work this morning, went round a roundabout, car went really rough followed by engine management light. Pulled over, topped up oil as looked a bit low. Now when I start it and rev it sounds rough as and engine light still on. If I accelerate there is definite hold back. It sounds like an old escort...any advice. Its a 2007 kia ceed 1.6 petrol..

2007 might still be in warranty or just out of. Dealer probably still your best option.

Is this a VVT engine? If so it could be the adjuster. Best to get it scanned if not still in warranty.
