Wheels pic request

Featured Replies

Has anyone got any pics of a octy with fabia vrs alloys, or leon cupra 16" multi spokes on?

Thanks

Err does this mean they look like poo on a octy?

I'm sure there is a pic somewhere on here of a black vrs on the fabia alloys.

I have attempted a search, but as usual no success lol

Try getting a pic of your car and the wheels you'd like and put a request in the photoshop section if you don't get any luck

I can't find it either now, though i am sure its billy2981 i think, black octy parked next to a fence.

Ta m8 I'll ask him

Check the rimfest thread, the picture is in there

They look spot on on a Fabia, but not great on an Octy.

IMO bit small!

lol its not the wheels being too small, it's the tyres, they're fabia sized ones. Not too keen on the style tho, think I'll keep looking

from the amount of seat wheel sets with "one slightly buckled" or having masses of weights stuck on, I'd say the leon wheels are a bit on the soft side...

Ooo ta for that, thinking about it, you don't see many for sale, probably why!

Annoyingly i didn't take a pic of mine with the bora rims on, they suited it better you do need 55s on it bridge the gap up ha

Why 16s?

There are plenty of 17 inch options there, which fill the arch much better.

Yup I agree unfortunately due to the state of the roads these days they're not practical, already have a nice chunk missing from the rim of my spiders due to a pot hole. When I had my winters on the ride over pot holes and speed bumps were loads better with only slight worse cornering feeling lost due to the bigger sidewalls. Plus tyres are loads cheaper lol

imo the 17" octy vrs spiders are great looking wheels! i loved mine only changed them because i wanted 18's lol but come winter time they will be back on to save the 3sdm 0.05's :-)

I'm with you on this one.  Now I'm running 19" wheels I'm even more nervous of the road surface but the opposite can be said when driving the Ignis as they are 15" wheels.  It skips over imperfections and the tyres are less than £37 for Rainsport 3s.  Two extremes.

I ran 16s on the Octavia for a bit when I was having the Spiders refurbed and didn't like it as much.   The handling definitely suffered and it didn't feel as nice to drive in a spirited manner.  Having said that, the suppleness of the sidewalls made the rough roads more bearable.
