I'm trying to find a short shift kit for the 4x4 but as most decent kits are made in the US it's not easy trying to find out if they'll fit.

What I need is the part number for the gear selector arm so that I can compare it to other VAG cars. I have ETKA for VW but my version of ETOS isn't working.

For reference it should look something like the silver one in the pic below:

My Car is a 51plate Octavia 4x4 1.8T engine code ARX.

Any help appreciated.

The dieselgeek ultra looks like the best available as they are the only ones to replace the factory rubber/plastic parts to improve the feel as well as reduce the throw. They have a wind range and I'm sure one will work, just need to figure out which.

Some I found listed but many variations mate.

Any more cars that would help?

and i have seen them for a sale on a uk site,just can't remember where (i'm a tool,found via google a while back).....Don't know if this is of any use
