When the car is locked, the drivers side door LED flashes.

 

However, the LED next to the automatic gearbox stick doesn't flash... is it just the case of replacing that LED? Or is it not gearbox LED meant to flash?

 

Car is Skoda Octavia 1999 1.8 automatic estate.

The LED next to the gear lever is not standard. Perhaps you have or used to have an aftermarket alarm fitted?

Thanks, I only purchased the car a few months ago, so it must have been fitted by the previous owner.

the flash one on the door means it is deadlocks (iirc), and one down by the gear lever looks aftermarket/diy.
