Its nearly her birthday so..

I have had my Octavia 3 for nearly a year now, so thought I would evolve it slightly and add a genuine Skoda boot lip spoiler.

I've always thought the back of the Octavia 3 was missing something (in my opinion of course), and I am pleased to say the spoiler has completed the car for me.

I am not after a VRS look just something subtle and I think this genuine spoiler is just about right for me.

I did contemplate a different colour for a moment but after seeing a rapid space back in my local showroom which was in white with a black spoiler I decided just white was the way to go for me.

It has cost me less than £180 for spoiler, painting, bonding sealer and fitting. So didn't break the bank. It probably will alter my fuel economy slightly but I can live with that for the look I was going for.

Insurance didn't change after declaring a change to bodywork either.

Love it or hate it, here are some pictures  .post-102261-0-94516400-1400188116_thumb.jpgpost-102261-0-56955700-1400188123_thumb.jpgpost-102261-0-15245400-1400188128_thumb.jpg

Yep, suits it well, I like it.

Nice. Like the white with the Golus wheels too.

Looks neat.

Looks nice, similar to mine with Golus & Candy White.

I saw a MK2 Octavia the other day with a spoiler just the same as yours.

It looks good

Very classy, just like the spoiler on the MkI 4x4 hatch I used to own about a decade ago.

Are you saying it is 'retro' :)

No, just classy and understated, it suits the Elegance as it did all those years ago on my 1.8T 4x4 which was also Elegance spec but could blow a vRS away at the lights in the wet!

Thank you all for the likes! If peeps think it's a bit retro that's fine by me. ;-)

As they say the devil is in the detail, and although very subtle it looks right. Good work.

Well saved
