Evening folks, mate was playing about with VCDS on my 08 Octavia VRS 2 and did a few things like turnoff the seatbelt bong, enabled the chirp when locking car amongst a few other things but i seemed to have lost the mpg (wording) on my trip computer for what your doing witht the throttle pushed down and also one click backwards is usually the mpg 1 and mpg 2 but they seemed to have chnaged and also lost the wording as well. This is a non maxidot display. Could anybody shed any light on this please.

If your mate looks in hs VCDS install folder there is a folder called debug. In that is a file that documents every change made, so I would start rolling back the changes. At a guess, as I am not familiar with the non-Maxidot, he has changed the display variant.
