Build quality

Featured Replies

So I was browsing the web as you do at 2 in the morning when I stumbled upon this video.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VafpUiaDaGc at first I thought "Oh no! That poor Skoda what have they done?!" until I translated the description and then I was slightly impressed how it'd handled the situation it had been thrown into, yes the videos all in Dutch but this is what the description read.. "Škoda Auto makes quality cars! Everything works as before the flood! The car was swept 300 meters from the house!" and I figured hey! Who will actually be able to find that video it has barely 500 views, ah I know I will share it with the Citigo community

it's Czech, not Dutch :)

My mistake, blame YouTube, it said the caption was in Dutch

That is pretty cool.

I probably would've pulled all the crap away from the air intake

that you can see at around 50 - 55 seconds, before turning the key though...

Just to save having to clean it all out of the filter later on... which i hope they checked too?

ANy reason

This. ^

well, water in the air filter being pulled into the block aint gonna do the engine any favours...

and clearing the crap out of the way of the intake - to stop it being pulled in and clogging said air filter?

That is more down to the design of the equipment than build quality (putting the car together)?
