Drivers Seat Storage Box

Featured Replies

On my Mk2 I fitted an underseat storage box (from a left hand drive car). Much more useful than the safety vest holder. Has anyone done this or know if it possible on the Mk3?

MY SEAT Leon FR has storage boxes under both front seats and I would guess the fastening to the seat is the same or at least the same as on the Skoda...

My vRS has something like that under the passenger seat?

I think Superskoda sell them for the drivers seat.

Anyone ordered and assembled the storage box?

Anybody tried to remove box from passenger seat? Cant see any screws. Thinking of maybe placing fire extinguisher below..

passenger underseat box

The only car I had with a fire extinguisher, broke the handle off in the impact of an accident fortunately I wasn't on fire.

I did this mod for my MK7 Golf estate, so in theory it is the same metal framework seats underneath

Linky to my list of mods which has a linky to the fire extinguisher mod

Thanks, but looks too much of a job and not a lot of space for just only 1kg fire extinguisher. I will continue to keep mine 2kg in the boot.

having been in a car crash & with the car on roof & the only way out was through a jammed passenger door..................having a fire extinguisher in the boot is of NO use if the car goes up with you inside & you can't get to it,

Fire extinguishers need to be within easy reach of driver & or passenger............also you should have noticed that I fitted a halon type (modern eco version) which has way more knock down than others for the same size & is more than capable of killing any fire on engines inc 3lt diesels..............plus it has the least "clean up" required of any other type, so very little damage done.

Back OT to the OP in my previous mentioned linky there are instructions on how to remove the underseat storage draw in my mod
