List of Mk7 Golf mods (OEM) suitable for Mk3 Octavia?

Featured Replies

Thanks a lot for sharing!

Thanks but, I was kinda hoping for some other performance items for the non-vRS models especially Anti Roll Bars, Induction Kits and sports exhausts ect

Definitely love to see if the battery goes into the Octy as easily. All the convenience items I have plus the dashcam as a constant draw is taking its toll.

Just added the BIG post on skid trays etc....basically a "rough road package".... B)

I like the engine cover. The 1.4 TSI needs one, it looks weedy, apart from keeping it clean.

I can confirm that engine cover for 1.4TSI fits also Skoda Octavia 1.4TSI MY2014. Below I attach photo of cover installed:

I'll be posting a short cut to the main list I have on the MK7 Golf forum as I now have about 22 "how to guides" there...I will NOT be reposting the info on here as that would take far too long & to much work!!

my latest guide solves most of the hollow/rolling log sounds etc from the rear suspension (multi-link) at lower speeds...

Site back up (they are doing maintenance) & I have posted ALL my "How to" threads up with links to each one!

+1

One of the first mods I did nearly4 years ago - and stuck an Octavia bonnet badge over the VW badge on the engine cover!

Thanks  @fabdavrav.  I'll be looking into the undertray addition next year.

Very interested in the vibration damping of the rear axle.  Do you know if there are official parts for the torsion beam rear end?  There are a few part listed in various places on the web that are from other manufacturers and are generic round mass on a rubber mount that are not necessarily designed for the MQB platform but 'work'.
