Columbus is the better

How come its OK to divert attention whilst driving so as to reference the detail displayed on an integrated sat nav (Buried in the lower part of the central dashboard console), but not OK to reference details on a mobile phone screen held in your hand ?

 

Think I'll wait 'till someone does a "Heads-up" on windscreen, until then sun-compass, ticking thing on wrist and circular guage on instrument binnacle will do.

Integrated sat nav will often show directions in the speedo cluster too though.

Audi did that a few years ago Mr Roberts.

Columbus...no question about it.

It does depend on what you want from the kit. Columbus has HDD, better nav and on pre-FL it will integrate with MaxiDot, Amundsen has the options of Bluetooth and DAB, but won't integrate with pre-FL MaxiDot.
