I plant to replace the OEM 15" wheels on my car when It arrives. I like the Skoda 17" black/chrome  wheels seen on lots of spacebacks however, I have read that they are little bumpy and wondered if there is a recommended make and type of tyre with these wheels. Regards,

My Rapid 17" Alloys came with 215/40/17 Continental tyres. They are quite a low profile tyre which gives a slightly harsher ride.

Just test driven three Rapid Spacebacks one with 16" rims and Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres and the other two had 17" one with Conti Premium Contact 2 and the other with the Dunlops again; preferred the 17" option with Dunlop's, as this set-up seemed quieter and gave sharper handling and in petrol guise the ride was pretty good; diesel was a little more crash'y.
