Boot storage thing

Featured Replies

Guys...... Anyone know how the storage net area frame etc comes out the vrs hatch

I kinda had a mishap :D

Now i need to remove or replace

Oooops :(

I think it sort of fixes through the carpet with little plastic dowels that are melted on the ends behind some metal rails. Bit of a pain in the arse to remove/replace

Typical

A remove no replace then lol

Probably easiest just to find a replacement carpet with the net jobby already attached and in one piece

I think they have plastic rivets

You can remove them by pressing the little center rivet through with a very small screwdriver or nail. This allows the plastic rivet to open up and you can pull it out.

Most I have seen have been damaged over the years and folks have used self tapping screws instead(like me)

In answer to this

NIGHTMARE

Looking at it

To the tight there be annoying fiddly catch bits

To the left are as you all say plastic ass rivets

The bottom are 2 clips

No pics but what i have done is got the dremmel and cut the uprites off

And trimmed the bottom down so it drops a angle each side

Bottom hole are hidden and the sides arnt noticed really

I will find a boot tidy thing or such

FUKCSAKE :(

I used Stanley knife at back of boot carpet near bottom seat bench so it allows me to completely remove carpet. This has proved handy from cleaning floor pan etc.

Yeah most are broke as quite weak. I fixed mine by screwing a self tapper through the plastic vertical post into the side panel. I prefer to keep mine as useful for spare litre of oil/rags/spare coil pack etc.
