Went out this afternoon and thinned out wiring for a few useless systems I.e. Rear wiper, heater, boot release door systems, stereo, heater, heated rear window, airbags.

My mind has been wandering, I can cope with doing Suduko no longer, when the new welder arrives in the next few days I should get the floor modified and sunroof blocked off

A thought about progress? Wow haha

Got the Welder yesterday, been quite busy today but knocked up a bracket to support the rear window and welded it in, will crack on and do some more bits in the coming days,

Well it all kind of dried up due to lack of time and other commitments, started to take paint off of tailgate, cutting weight out once it's stripped too,

No photos yet but bits of 1.2 HTP engine everywhere soaked in parts wash. Also on the cards, a hippo. Going to collect tomorrow.

So is it a 1.8T project again?

Yes. Eventually, I've got various odd bits in various places and just need to get some time in on this which is becoming increasingly tighter

Well if there's a positive for you Toxic, it's that this is still a quicker build than the Citigo-go-go ;)

But that's had more done in the time :( this is still a shell. Stag should be gone soon so I can get this undercover and crack on

You'll get there eventually :) when you do it'll be well worth the effort and wait
