Badge Removal

Featured Replies

I thought about removing the 'Octavia' and 'TDi' badge off the back of my car. Any advice as to how to do it without pulling the paint off or causing damage?

Warm it up with a hair dryer Fishing line behind and use a sawing motion to remove Tar remover to remove the sticky stuff off the paint then polish Hope this helps...Andy :)

Thanks guys, thats great

Used dental floss to get my Fabia one off

20lb fishing line for me - still needed loads of bits as its clearly not designed to be used in a sawing motion to remove badges. :o It kept snapping. Maybe I should have used some 50lb trace line instead?

oh, and I used a finger nail to remove glue, followed by wd-40 soaked bit of cloth to clean up, then some Zymol.

On my old Fiat Bravo, I boiled a kettle and poured the boiling water over the badges and then used a plastic spatula to peal the badges off. Removed all the badges within 15 minutes.
