Now I have a Land rover Defender and when out and about often get waves from other defender drivers and usually from modified discoveries too.

But my wife seems to get the same happening to her when she is out and about in her Citigo....is this a Citigo thing as I don't get it with my Octavia or fiesta/transit van etc

Anyone else found people giving them a wave for having the same type/model car?

I haven't even seen another Citigo around here yet. (Apart from Hyphons visiting).

I do in my MX-5, I've also had waves when in that from TR4 and MGs etc. Never from the pretend soft top sports BMs or Merc brigade though.

I'd love to see Citigos to wave to. The nearest dealer is 25 miles away and the VW one is only down the road so I see Ups.

I've tried waving to the few Citigos I've seen around here but no one responded yet!

A couple of Up!s around our way, they seem to look the other way wen im driving Lexi... (swmbo's Citigo)

I had a friend who had a Fiat 127.... like minded people waved ..... but not sure it was waving or drowning in embarassment....

I don't tend to see many Citigos around here but it's around 50/50 Up to Citigo.

What I do tend to see though are loads of Kia of whatever model, think we have a few Kia dealers in and around Derby and Burton and only one proper Skoda dealer.

Saw someone with the exact same car as mine a week or so back, white elegance, with the black decals. They did a full enthusiastic wave. :-)

Didnt realise waving is so common like this tbh.

I always nod at other bikes, when im on the bike (unless im in a busy bike area, cos then id look like the Churchill dog)

I like to think that other Sports would wave at each other. I'm just yet to see another on the road to test out the theory. In a year of ownership now nearly.

Same here. So rare down South to see any Citigos.
