Just hit 80,000 without a hitch.

Well I have had my Greenline SE twindoor for 20 months and just clicked over the 80k mark today.

No problems with it at all.

Another 20k and it will be replaced but not sure what next.

I have had 4 Octavia's before the Superb and have been looking at them again but I think they are noisy and the stereo sounds poor.

Also been looking at a Superb Estate in 2.0TDi 140 SE Business spec but not sure about the rear tints.

Oh well need to make my mind up soon.

That's a lot of miles in less than two years!  I assume its miles you're talking in.  Would be hard to go back to an Octavia especially doing that sort of mileage.

Good to hear about reliability for a change

Fellow Sheffielder too :)

Try the new Octy 3... but a Superb is the place to be, mile munching like you are IMO

Best of luck choosing

Regards

Damo

New Passat will go on sale after Paris Motor Show in October, and that could be an option for 2 years until new Superb will be available :)

I do around 45-50,000 miles a year.

I have had 4 Octavia's and done 100,000 in them with no problem but i am not sure about the O3.

To many toys that I dont need and although I only drove the 1.6 TDi SE I was not that impressed.

Seems very noisy even compared to my MK1 1.8 4x4 estate that I have as my knock about car.

Its a company car and it will be due for replacement around the beginning of November when it hits 100,000 miles.

And the Passat will be out of my budget.

ookay, November is a bit early then for Passat to be available on sale. So FL Superb then ;)

240K miles in my Octavia II in 8 years, now 85K miles in my Superb in 3 years. I am hoping to beat the mileage I got in the Octavia.

Wait for the MK3 it looks like it's going to be a cracker to look at.
