Retro fitting sports kit? Elegance Spec

Featured Replies

We have now taken delivery of our Citigo elegance after 5+months of waiting.

Can anyone yet fitted the 'sport/monte carlo' front splitter and rear trim to their elegance model?

It would seem Skoda are either unsure or not done it and with around £400 on parts I not partial to spending the monies to not fit.

I know the rear trim is boned on so its not an issue, I'm more worried about the fitting of front splitter

Look forward to your replies

thanks

Weirdly after looking into it I was under the impression it was the other way around, front splitter gets bonded on with glue, but I can't find any info at all on the rear diffuser and no one I've spoke to seemed particuarly sure about it.

The rear diffuser is bonded on definately.

In the 2nd photo it's not the diffuser that's riveted on. I couldn't see any fixings for the diffuser at all underneath. There were cut outs but no screws or rivets.

Thanks for the pictures,i have feeling its fitted with a few more rivets than shown on the pictures.

Speaking to dealers they seem uninterested to assist or have little experience with Citigo.

I looked all around mine and found no fixings for it. The only part riveted was the plastic trim behind it.

Can somebody with a Sport have a nosey at the rear diffuser as well, interested to see how that's fitted.

It's bonded on. No screws fitting it.

Diffuser

Citigo

Does not compute!

Why fit a sports kit on a Elegance? It's not going to improve anything just make it ugly (IMHO) :x
