Regret selling the VRS

Featured Replies

It's been nearly a month now but I regret getting rid of it! I was fed up of the boost piping, the awkward seats and a bit bored of the lack of 'oomph'. The impending dmf and possible turbo were always on the back of my mind.

Still the car had character and felt a bit more unique than the other trash on the road.

To top it all off I let it go too cheap out of sheer frustration that it wouldn't sell for what I wanted!

Buy another! :D

I had same issue but on a 1.2 Sold it! Bought a Clio which I hated 2 weeks l had to get another Fabia I couldn't last any longer! Life's too short to not have a Fabia! :D

Buy another! :D

Exactly what I had to do when my Dad refused to sell me my old Octavia vrs back as I regretted selling that

Don't start this man!

I bought 'mine' last year for my wife to replace her Swift, but it was a mechanical/aesthetic fixer upper, so I gave her my Mazda6 which she said she hated as it was too big, and I used the Fabia to get to work.   Got it all fixed up, no mods, just to standard spec.  I can't believe how well these stick to the road, and it is very well mannered on the motorway, give it some cruise control and its a good un.

All is good thinks me, just a small suspension rattle to locate(fine going up the sleeping policeman just a noise when it comes back down) then I can get started on the paintwork.  Gave it to her to make sure she was happy with it, and she says she would rather have the bloody mazda now because it is bigger and sturdier.  I mean wtf, a tank is bigger and sturdier.

I don't want to get rid of the car but I know when I do I'll regret it, but need to sell one of them so I can change my Van to a Caddy Maxi from a Transit.

Stop moaning man you're making me pine for something I haven't lost yet!!!

Wonder if I can make the Mazda self-combust.......

Create a 'fault' on the Mazda that's going to be very very expensive to fix... sell it before said fault becomes critical :)

She'll get used to the vRS...
