Felicia Imobilizer

Featured Replies

I have just insured my skoda felicia 97 R reg. Part of the t&c is that an imobilizer is used. The car has not got a alarm fitted and the owners manual is not much help. How would I now if one is fitted? The fact that I am having to ask suggests to me that it doesn't.

Cheers

If it helps, my R reg Felicia 1.6 has an immobiliser fitted as standard.

Is there anyway to tell? I have no flashing lights when the ignition is off, or anything like that. There could be a transmitter in the key, but there is no way of telling.

Model is a 1.3 Lxi

There is a transponder in the key on a 97R, there isnt any external way of telling though, not lights etc.

My felicia has a sticker on the rear window saying pretty much what Lummox just said!

I found this on parkers website it might help
