Anybody in the dewsbury cleckhudersfax area.im wanting to enable both rear fogs, rear lights as drls (on all time) and possibly rain closing...

Is there anyone who can help?

Hi

Rear lights on all the time can't be done unfortunately, and I'm pretty sure there is no wiring for 2 rear fogs but not 100% on that one.

It would help if we knew which car you have?

Is it a Mk I, Mk II or Mk III Octavia?

The wiring is there for both rear fogs on a Mk II and a Mk III. Later Mk II's are a problem to enable both rear fogs. Early Mk II's and Mk III's are a doddle :)

I don't know the first thing about Mk I's LOL

I assumed it was a Fabia as it showed in my feed, my bad

I think tail-lights as DRLs is possible on MKII, IIRC its the Scandinavian mode.

You can just define one of the spare channels for the taillights to be DRLs

I wasnt asking if it could be done, as I have read the forums, what I was wanting was someone in my area with vcds to enable them for me.

I thought it was a Fabia, it showed up in my feed for some reason. Wish it could be done on the Fabia. Also would like to have the dash lights on at all times but apparently it can't be done by VCDS...is a possibility of you are a whizz with a solder iron..I am not
