They have said to me our computers won't let us do it and Skoda won't let them use Ross tec or vcds

I am going to ring them tomaz if they can't sort something out then am gonna ring Skoda uk and will see what they got to say about it

You can see the coding here from when I was playing around with the HID coding. One of the bytes above byte 18 can cause the issues your having but like you say if you have checked it against the original coding it shouldn't be a problem

Let us know how you get on, the dealer doesn't need to use VCDS, they just need training on how to use their own equipment properly.

What they are saying is that they aren't able to code the BCM themselves which isn't true. Sure, they may not know how to do it properly but that is why Skoda have a technical help service whereby engineers in the Czech Republic are able to control the dealers software, whilst plugged into the car from another country.

This needs resolving ASAP, this dealer is increasing my blood pressure!

Hi everyone there thought of updating stuff

1st last Wednesday made a call to skoda coustmore service they said they will contact dealers and let me know so they did after two days all they said that BCM is compatible for my car for DRL so it's the dealers are not doing their job properly so after all that skoda serive has said that my car needs to go back to dealers for dignose to fine out if there's any other reason why my DRL arnt working even though I told them that it's the new BCM I even showed them there's absolutely nothing wrong with my DRL but skoda servie still booked me in for dignose which will be next Wednesday
