fitting 6x9 and a box in boot of my FL octy

Featured Replies

I have run out of things to do to my VRS and now the only thing i can think of which could do with a upgrade is the OEM speakers...

I have a columbus fitted and anything over half on the volume causes the OEM speakers to max/crack out.

I was hoping to fit 6/9s in rear shelf and a sub in boot all run off a amp

The problem is does the columbus have RCA sockets on the rear or would i need to run a wire from the existing speakers in rear doors ..its been 20 years since i installed any amps etc and not savvy with the new ICE setups.

No, the Columbus doesn't have RCAs at the back. The easiest solution, one which I have done, is to use an amp which accepts high-level inputs.

Dont fit 6x9s or put them in the rear shelf. It will sound dredful.

If you have issues with the oem speakers change them and amp the replacements
