Need to know what centre bore they are, if smaller than 57.1mm they will need drilling. If bigger you can use spigot rings.

Need to know the offset.

A lot of people who have fitted 17's to a fabia have gone back to smaller rims due to the ride.

Have 17s on our Octavia Combi and really like them, but think they'd look a little big on my Fabia. Was thinking about 16s if I ever get round to changing the stock 15s.  Interesting about the ride - take it most vRSeses are 16s then?
