Samsung S4 slow to connect after turning on engine

Featured Replies

Hi

I used to have a Samsung S2 which connected withing a few seconds of turning on the engine.  I have now got a Samsung S4 after starting the engine I get a message on the phone saying remote SIM activated within a few seconds but then takes 3 minutes or so to actually connect the phone.  On the display it sometimes says searching for phone.

Has anyone else had this problem or do yours connect quickly?

I am thinking of a factory reset on the phone but that's a bit of a pain if its not going to change anything.

I have had this also. I now make sure i turn phone bluetooth on before starting the car. Seems to connect quickly every time this way.
