Should be plug and play as I'd of thought it will be iso connector. If you lose your memory you'll need to swap the lives over

You'll need a Dacia adapter too ;)

Facia...

facia adapter? where do I get that from? will it not fit without??

would it be possible to fit the unit for the time being and add the facia later on??

Will work fine but have a 1cm gap above it.

Are you Yoda? :)

The original Symphony can be a bitch to remove. Secret is to pull on the tray underneath as well as elsewhere. Removing all trims, cup holders, buttons etc from around the radio/tray can help loads in getting a grip. (Heater panel trim first - pulls straight out once bottom is prised out - then covered screwdriver for the side bits, then the buttons along the top).

If you are going from the original Symphony it isn't quite plug and play. To use the radio you will need an adaptor to send power up the coax antenna connector to the amplified bee sting antenna on the roof. If you don't do that you will probably have dreadful radio reception. Some people seem to be able to get away with it for FM in very strong signal areas but it won't work without it for MW. The antenna adaptor needs a power supply which if I recall correctly is a blue wire that may be provided from the head unit labelled as "ant cont" (at least it did with the Kenwood unit I did a couple of weeks ago. Power is only supplied when the head unit is set to tuner. Swapping the lives over has already been mentioned. These are the yellow and red wires and they probably have connectors on them that make it easy to swap them over.

Cheers svenedin system is in, it was plug and play and I sourced an antenna adapter so fm stations are working perfectly

Also had to swap reds and yellows all working a treat

Managed to order the trim piece to fill that nasty gap at the cost about 9quid delivered

Cheers
