My company website

Featured Replies

Afterrnoon all :)

Can someone do me a favour and google my website for me and see if the google search mentions anything about my site being hacked? Its masseyandking.com We have an attempt on our site and our IT guy says he has fixed it but whenever i google it there is a message underneath the link saying it might be hacked. I have tried clearing my cache thinking that might be the reason im still seeing the message.

Cheers folks

Kit :)

+1 yep it's there.

Had a look at the code on your home pages and didn't see anything too odd. I was running it with the scripts blocked. Unless there is something in the flash banners. Flash is notorious for hiding nasty things

Looks to be ok now - though a little slow to load.

Are you signed up to Google Webmaster tools?

You can request a reindex, which can take around 24hours, otherwise it will just reindexed in it's own time.

This is some useful information: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/168328?hl=en

I used to work for an eCommerce software company, so this is something that would happen normally.

Change FTP passwords, restrict to certain IPs, Enabled FTP when you want it through your hosting control panel. All options you can try anyway.

As far as i know our IT guy has has requested a reindx from google about four days but it looks like it still isnt done!!

You will need to wait for Google to "catch up" im afraid :/

Doing a google search I am still seeing this site maybe hacked.

Sounds a silly question, but have you changed all passwords associated with your site?
