Hello

I joined yesterday because I have to downsize and my lovely little Fabia has to go. My first Skoda was an 03 Octavia Elegance 1.9 td. Combi. The power unit being the same as my son's Golf GTD, and I couldn't afford one.The Skoda was an absolute beauty and a joy to drive. 2 years later, browsing the internet I spotted a 6 month old Fabia VRS. Drove to Humberside for a test drive and bought it. On the way back to Derby I couldn't stop smiling at the performance with such comfort! 

We drove to Spain, took 2 long days and at the end of each day got out of the car still feeling fresh.

I later swopped the Octavia in 1959 for a new Octavia VRS combi,  2litre Tdi in Race Blue. Another winner but the Fabia still makes me smile.

I think I might want references from any prospective owner. Much like handing over your favourite daughter to a future husband.

Just seen the post and DID wonder how the Race Blue Octavia vRS TDI was purchased in 1959!
