Wasn't sure what to expect but for the price I got it for, £211, I thought it was worth a go. Must say, I'm impressed, quality seems pretty good, it fitted perfectly and it's made such a difference to the car. Turbo is spooling up so much better and made things much more responsive. I already had a Powerflow, single silencer cat back on the car which sounded quite nice, but now linked up to the sports cat, it sounds mental on full beans

 

So if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to the usual branded stuff, I recommend this ebay special, it seems to be doing the job pretty well

This is definately on my list, will go well with the non-resonated Piper system.

I bought the same one new for just over £100  :p

 

Sold it to my friend and i fitted to his car. Fitted ok. The cat is slightly larger than some branded makes which made it slightly more tricky to fit the O2 sensors but was ok.

 

Seems to make his car run well.

 

They do sound good with a piper system as i have the piper non res too and had a Blueflame cell 200 sports cat fitted.

 

Now have a decat / downpipe which makes even more noise

Plus... it says in the listing it's not for the vRS(?)

Not sure what the diametre of the standard system is but anything can be made to fit with an appropriate joiner. The name escapes me now but I used a company earlier this year to make me a custom size joiner for my rover, don't think it was any more than 10 of my hard earned pounds.
