Top ten things that go wrong with Octavia RS?

Featured Replies

In 15 months and 20k miles I've had an indicator steam up and my clutch pedal started squeaking.

Both sorted under warranty by the dealer.

Oh' date='and the seats again.Dirty and frayed mesh.Haven't found a product to solve it yet :thumbdwn:[/quote']

anyone managed to get the fraying seats fixed under warrenty, mines on its way with only 29k on the clock.

also centre exhaust mount, a common bit to fail but not covered,

electric windows open whilst closing, fixed by dealer new motor fitted

other than that its nearly more reliable than my old 820 vitesse (nothing broke or died in nearly 7 years)

Well after 12 months and 18000 miles

1) coil packs (no suprise there then )

2) Cracked windscreen, now 12 inches long but soon to be fixed under warranty.

errrm thats it.

Am I the only person who doesn't have groaning rear brakes ?
