Bolero Firmware Update

Featured Replies

I know this topic has been covered endlessly however; I have been unable to find the answer to my problem.

When I enter the SECRET MENU on my Bolero by pressing and holding the Setup button, I get the following

AM and FM selections but not the third option that will allow me to see what my Firmware is currently at.

I am having the car (59FL Octavia 1.4TSI Estate) serviced at Helston Garages in Cornwall and have asked them to update the firmware as I have the SD card delay issues common to this unit.

When I booked the car in and explained about the Firmware update, they new nothing about it and so I want to ensure that I have all of the required info to ensure that the update is carried out corrctly.

Any information that may be useful will be gratefully received.

Ronnie

The firmware update doesn't specifically mention speeding up the access issues so you need to tell them it's related to the 'other' problem.

Unfortunately I can't remember what that was though - sorry!
