Seat Repair

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I have a cigarette burn in the back seat of my citigo through no fault of my own because my car is a smoke free zone but i did unfortunately receive a cigarette end through my passenger window.

Any suggestions on how i can solve this problem would be appreciated, its right in the crease between the passenger side rear seat and the middle part where nobody sits because its a 4 seater :)

cheers dude :)

I have in the past used a needle and thread if the hole is small enough. Hardly noticeable.

ive got chips away guus coming on the first of july to disguise the damage haha bad news is because its burnt both sides of the seam cos it landed slap bang in the middle it has to be treated as two burns which is going to set me back £80 but it will be permanent and the right colour and whatnot so I guess thats not too bad? :) yeah your not the only one haha I had the exact same a fully intact cigarette end complete with an ash trail neatly sat in the seam of my back seat :(

Or was it a fly in job?

This is the problem with the 3 door citigo, disposing a cigarette end becomes an Olympic sport :giggle:

Sorry for the late reply guys its been a busy couple of days prepping for japshow but here are the before and after photos of my £80 repair to my cigarette burn on the back seat :) i have to say although relatively pricey but far cheaper than having it sorted properly rather than disguised i am fully chuffed with this repair :) It was £80 because it was treated as two burns as you can see it has caught both sides of the seam :)
