Hi, per thread title, just wondered if anyone had managed to get 0% and a good discounted price via Orange Wheels or similar?

 

They are quoting £12,199 'all in' for a rapid sport 1.2tsi 105 and say that dealer finance offers can stil be taken advantage of

Carfile are even better at £11,972... seems very good if you can still access the 0% and three years free servicing as indicated

I believe Orange Wheels is the online face of Listers Group, so local Listers should come close although salesman won't be too happy.

Not heard of that comapny above till just, seems ok and the prices are just slightly higher than Carfile.

 

I've used Carfile before, they are good to deal and don't charge you the customer a fee, Orange wheels don't either but some do.

 

I'm about make a decision on my purchase, whether to wait until next March or get one ordered now for Sept, it will be via Carfile.

I've just got a Rapid Sport on the 0% deal but the best price I could get with the finance was Gordon Lamb Skoda in Derby, at £12,630. Drive the deal and the like wanted around £13k with 0% or £12,200 for straight cash. Most of the dealers were coming in around the £13k mark too as they have to fund some of the financing cost. I missed the free servicing deal though by a week or so, but was without a car so had to get on with ordering, and at the time Skoda only had 2 Rapid sports built and ready to go in their system.

That was an order at the end of May, and it took a couple of weeks to get the car to me. Seems the deals are getting better and better by the day as we approach the end of the quarter, so a good time to screw the dealers down as far as possible if you can sort something before the end of June.

I've always used the online brokers to lever a better price from the bigger dealers, so go armed with the details of the best deal and haggle. That's half the fun!

Ordered a Rapid Sport on the last day of June for my wife and got the £3k minimum px, 0% finance and 3 years servicing. I did enquire on orange wheels before going to the dealers but they told me the prices they quote are for cash deals only.

It will be a factory order, the dealer is quoting a September delivery, the car is standard spec in Corrida Red.
