Octavia Air Con: Fault Code 00819 High Pressure Sensor (G65)

The air conditioning on my 2005 Octavia FSI Estate isn't working. Garage has re-gassed and detected a fault code of "00819 - High Pressure Sensor (G65) / 009 - Open or Short to Ground".

However when the switch is bypassed the air con still doesn't work implying it may not be the sensor.

Has anyone seen a similar problem?

Only option seems to be to try replacing the sensor to at least eliminate this as the cause. Help appreciated.

I have just bought a 2020 First Edition 1.5 SE L Estate and in the boot I cannot work our what is missing from the side of the boot, looking at the manual and photos online, the sides of the boot seem to have one complete panel that is removable with a little handle in the middle of it. Mine seem to have these fixed ones with little cutouts in them, I’m guessing they are meant to have something in them, and on the left, there is also a strap for something. I have the boot with the two levels

I have an Octavia mk3 2015 with the 1.2 liter petrol engine, and it has recently started making some strange noises. I suspected it had something to do with the AC system since the noise stops when I shut it off, but i also noticed that when the noise is happening and AC running the internal light also flicker very slighlty, which made me think the problem might be with the alternator, its pulley or the belt. We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. Driving back from north Wales yesterday. it happened on seven or eight occassions. I've checked the position of the wiper lever

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates.
