Does anyone know where id get this bolt from or give me the part number for the bolt that goes through the subframe, through the front wishbone bush, then into the console. I think its a 18mm bolt, about 110mm long - about 40mm is threaded and the rest is a shaft. Bolt bloody snapped when changing the rear wishbone bushes so its turned into a bigger job than i expected!  

 

Need this bolt ASAP so i can bolt the new console in as soon as it arrives!

 

Its for a MK1 Fabia VRS

Thats what i thought but mk1 VRS fabias are had to come across in scrappys unless the bolts shared with any other car? suppose it will be the same as ibizas, polos, golfs ect?

Trouble is, how are you going to get the snapped bit out, and won't the console thread be knackered by now? Edit, sorry, missed the bit where you said a new console was coming.

 

 

That's one bolt I'd never re-use, having had the same experience as you with one that had been.

Aye the new console is on its with with a wishbone and new bushes. Nightmare this for changing two bushes haha! 

 

BTW them consoles are an absolute fortune for new bits  ... £180 for a pair! no thanks - Ebay! - £35

I recently bought two of them. The new ones were threaded all the way up the bolt.

Pretty sure these bolts are stretch bolts so should be replaced anyways

When I changed mine. .. one was easy and one was a real bog pain. Theaed was gone. I REALY had to work it out . Bit by bit.copious amounts of wd40. 1/2 turn out 1/4 turn back and work it out. Took about an hour to undo that bolt. The bolt wasnt too sheepish in the end Because I managed to not sheer it when removing
