Sun visor

Featured Replies

While driving and you've got your sun visor down does anyone else's mirror slide move by itself?? It's bloody annoying if it's happened to you what have you done to prevent this? Took a quick snap this morning after parking up sometimes it opens up all the way.

mines doesnt do it, if you dont use it often then why not use some magic tape, its clearer than normal tape and easy removed if you need to do your makeup :p

Hi

I AWAYS drive with my sunvisor down, and I have never had a problem with the mirror cover moving by its self.

Steve

Nath, mine does exactly the same as that. It has started to annoy the hell out of me. It's only the drivers side one. I've never had an issue with the passenger side one. It's got to the point, that I've been looking on eBay for a new one! Not sure if this is covered by warranty or not.

Glad to know it's not just me then! Yours a vRS by any chance? Thinking about just putting a bit of blu-tac lol

Yup, VRS estate mine mate. Haha you could try the blu-tac. Pretty good idea ;-), I found one on eBay but they wanted 20 quid for it. Don't want to pay 20 quid for a new one. It's just annoying haha. Once you notice something you're happy with, you can't stop looking at it then can you :-)

Id have a good to at a warranty claim if it was me.

'Not fit for purpose' n all that.

Plus, what have you got to lose? They can only turn you away, leaving you wondering if its worth a bigger arguement, or £20 to buy one yourself.

This happens on our Monte Carlo  too.  Very annoying.

Oh my god the visor cover moves left and right! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :p
