It wouldn't get as far as the engine, the intercooler would catch it, even if it did the impeller is Aluminium and engines can digest small pieces without coming to any harm, they go right the way through and get trapped in the cat or blown out of the exhaust.

Hmmm interesting I was told otherwise but thanks for clearing that up, in this case I should drive till it blows clean the cat then wack on a new intercooler, refresh the system so to speak that way il pay Labour once

Well ive ordered a kkk :-( but spoke to turbo dynamics in Dorset and they can do a straight fit (minor work needed and egr delete) brand new garret for £475 + vat (cheaper than a brand new kkk) so that might be an option. It's good for 200 bhp but I'm only looking at stage 1 anyway. Jay, looks like you were right about a kkk hybrid, no one wants to touch them lol.

Then why buy another kkk dude?

Why don't you cancel or change your order for a more reliable Garret turbo - either way all u need is EGR blank plates which are like a tenner on ebay...

or pm xman750 he can get you a fully hybrid refurbed turbo delivered for like 400quid or there about's...

I wudnt bother with the kkk anymore

Its already shipped mate but Im gonna send it back and order the garret :-)

if you fit a hybrid turbo do u need to get it mapped to suit? or wil it run fine on the remap i already have with original kkk turbo?
