Been dabbling in detailing...

Featured Replies

As the title says, I've bought myself a rotary polisher and started doing a few cars obviously including my own.

The main reason was to remove all swirls and imperfections, just a bit of paint correction really. But the more I learn about the detailing side of things the more I'm enjoying it.

This is my car, which I've clayed, corrected, polished, glazed and coated...

I've also done my bro in laws black octavia which was badly swirled, this is a 50/50 shot..

I've done a few other cars, and love doing it (it's how I chill)

So basically if any members on here would like swirls or a bit of paint correction taken care of in the Beccles/ lowestoft area I'd be more than happy to help!

Drop it in the styling / car care section where you may get a few more views :)

shame you aren't closer, I'd he happy for you to have a go on my car lol

Shame you arent closer to me too.

Dads got a 56 plate transporter T5 in the dullest white youve ever seen.

Thatd keep you n your machine polisher busy for a while haha.

Contact a Mod, they'll do it

Come down the A12 and do mine if you are at a loose end.

Great work mate - looks really really nice. As said above - should have posted in Styling & Car Care.

Tell us more - what sort of products are you using to get these results, etc etc....

Thanks guys... I'd be more than happy to help make anyone's pride and joy look as good as it can.

I'm buying more and more products every time hear of something new! Lol

Mainly though, it's a mix of a decent clay bar (normally autoglym), meguiars compound and polishes, sealant, glaze then a good wax. Normally fusso soft or autoglym HD wax. With a rotary machine, and orange, green, black and red hexlogic pads.

I'd love a good challenge though, faded paint etc...

A bit of beading on a Volvo I did recently...

I try not to mask imperfections with black hole etc but rather get rid of them permanently.
