Emailed my local dealer for a price on passenger side seat storage box and they've nearly doubled in price in less than 12 months. I paid £10.60 July 30th last year (still have the email) now they're £18.34!

Am I likely to get it cheaper anywhere else- another dealer/tps etc? Anyone selling one? Or should I just stump up for it?

Try eBay, there was a company selling them on there for about £11 delivered not long ago

Would also make do with just the front blanking plate plastic trim bit, if anyone has one lying around? Just need something to put in the cd changers place.

You're telling me that you don't have a spare box or spare plastic trim?! You're house was like a tribute to Skoda Fabia seats when I was there last month... You had masses!

I actually have a spare room back now, first time in months. Until I pick the next Recaros up anyway..

Is that fitted (i presume not) - so that price is unfitted?

 

Became aware of these recently, quite like the idea of it (quite small bit still useful i guess)

 

No intention of embarking on removing / part removing the seat to install it though

I think skoda would probably add another zero on the end if you wanted it fitted.

They're easy enough to fit, but it is best to remove the seat to do so. Or at least undo the bolts and tip the seat back.
