Meguiars dual action power system (dual action polisher head powered by a drill). Any experience / thoughts?

Featured Replies

Just had a look at the site. The machine looks the same just a different colour. How would the flexipads compare to the chemical guys pad and the liquid elements polish to the meguiars?

Sorry - i don't use either type of pad so i cannot really advise on that one.

We have a 10% discount code with Simon; but honesty - drop him a mail or phone... tell him i recommended you.

He will beat almost any price if he can, and you seemed to be on a tight budget.... one of the most helpful guys out there to be honest!

Yup that's where my DA came from. Bargain!

I have sent Simon a message through the website. Thanks for the help! Any reviews on his pads or compounds would be good to hear.

I just pinged Simon a message to confirm - he got your email and is looking into options/deals

Thanks for your help, he has been in contact and is putting me a deal together. Si recommended the autobrite correct it range of compounds over the liquid elements so it is between his kit

And the cleanyourcar megs 105/205 and hex pad set

Both with extra pads.

Still not sure about the autobrite polishes as there are so many good reviews for the megs and next to no reviews for the autobrite correct it range.

Fair enough mate.... don't feel swayed on price if you are not comfortable on the products being offered!

If Megs is what you know and trust or what most people recommend - you cant ignore that really.

Glad that Simon tried his best, i know he always does..... but just that he's not a Meg's stockist really.

Much like he doesnt stock Sonax either..... shame!

I've just bought one of those DA polishers off eBay. Looks good so far, haven't used it yet though.

Question is, where do I start? I've got the white (soft) foam pads, orange (medium) foam pads, black "waffle" (medium) foam pads, wool pads etc....

I appreciate the help you knowledgeable guys give out, thank you.

Completely missed the DA guide post in that thread, duh!

Thanks again.
