Welcome :orb_wave:

The answer to your question is YES it can be done expect to go , Panal air filter, cupra air intake, and remap. Plus anything else to exceed.

Welcome to Briskoda. :D

Hi Ben :)

Yep its very possible, may well configure an uprated clutch into that mind you.

good stuff, going to test drive one in the morning

I got mine on Thursday. Just awesome. I wont be remapping for 2 main reasons:

1. Warranty issues

2. I think its fast enough !!

I think I may add a Green Panel air filter and cupra air intake and thats all

Good luck with your purchase

just got back, handling isn't as good as I think it could be (my focus zetec is better) and the power band is very limited, other than that its a nice motor

just needs 17s some bilsteins(??) and to rev harder towards the limiter

Youve obviously not driven a diesel before. The power band is narrow by nature of the engine. You do not need to change gear as often and the torque band pulls very hard between 3000 and 4500 rpm. It is something that you will get used to

driven loads of diesels actually, test drove a astra with the 150bhp cdti today, and that has a better powerband

lot dearer though
