Hi everybody.

Today I got my car back from abt, having re-programmed the chip.

I am also installing the set of springs on monday,

but since my car was ready, I took it home for the weekend.

Having driven less than 150km. with the reprogrammed chip,

it is really very early to have an integral opinion about it.

The only things I really noticed immediately is that

a) it goes faster, and

it spins all the time, eventhough I got 2 brand new tyres

for the front wheels just for the occasion.

(the 'old' had about 5 months usage)

When I press hard on the pedal, the front part of the car moves up way too much and it spins like crazy.

How much difference could the set of abt springs do?

And also, what other things may I do to improve my car,

but also keep my warranty?

Ok,

today I spend the entire day at the mechanic shop.

I met a chechoslovakian mechanic who worked in central skoda in Chechoslovakia for 15 years, and came to Greece just last year.

I found out some interesting things out of him:

Skoda is preparing the Superb for Grand Tourismo class races. (!!)

This means that in a couple of months,

skoda itself will be able to provide a really nice set of shocks, springs and other stuff to keep the car going straight.

Also he told me that my engine has vvti technology,

and therefore the output of the remmaped chip should be about 20-30hp more...

So monday morning I got for re-re-programming.

..I only wonder if I get 30 hp more, how will I drive until I change the suspension system....

If I press deep down the throttle, the car behaves like a crazy goat, jumping around on the road..

Has anybody got any experience with a similar situation to mine?

Also, I am posting in the correct place?

If not, please someone redirect me..

yes, you're in the right place

as far as i know, we don't have any regular chipped superb owners but someone will undoubtedly come and offer some advice/opinion soon.

bit quieter here on the weekend too.

go on and make your cars live up to the 'superb' name!

Dont stop until u get 250hp

Thats a good horsepower number for that car.
