I've got a ibiza pd160 it's got an egr cooler do I need to delete this or can it stay in place when deleting the egr vavle itself??

You can leave it in place being inactive. Mines gone - saves a kilo or so!

I got rid of mine mate, clears loads of room at the back of the engine bay. Looks a lot less cluttered.
