URGENT! Inner front CV joints leaking after suspension change

Featured Replies

Hi

I have recently changed the front suspension on my 99 1.3 Felicia. I swapped the original suspension with the shocks and springs from a Felicia 1.9D. This was to give extra ground clearance for a rally starting a week today.

Since, both inner CV joints have started leaking grease even though the boots are in fairly good condition.

It seems odd that it should leak on the inner CV joints and on both sides. Has anyone had the same problem, or can shed some light on why this is happening?

Thanks

Are you sure it's not gear oil leaking out of the driveshaft seals?

splits in the bellows  www

I had this when I converted to air con mine was leaking oil from gearbox and boot found boot had moved a little I think they don't have clips on but check for a hole or splt
