starter motor problems

i have octavia mk 1 1.9tdi 2004. just thought i would let you know about a problem i had with my starter motor it would try to start and then starter would spin fast. tested batt ok. had starter refurbed same problem checked flywheel ok.belts ok. engine turning ok .had it checked by my garage he found it was the throttle body he cleaned it up. starts with no problems now and runs like a dream hope this helps anyone with same problems.
